No, Network Model is strictly a data gathering system. Users can view elements modeled to represent their electric systems and enter modifications, additions and deletions that will be required to maintain an accurate representation. Project information should include one-line diagrams as attached files along with impedances, transformer specifications, etc. PJM staff review the projects that have been submitted and approve the project if appropriate. In some cases, PJM may require more details while in other cases, PJM will simplify the project. PJM performs model builds four times a year: winter, summer, spring and fall. These model builds are performed to permit corrections and adjustments to internal and external models used by the PJM EMS. The PJM Model Build Schedule provides a listing of scheduled builds. After the EMS model has been updated, the ticket’s status will be changed to “Implemented.”
