Question:
What is required when PJM requests a Reactive Reserve Check (RRC)?

Answer:
Transmission Owners, or TOs, must fill out and submit the eDART RRC data providing capability for the reactive equipment in their zones. The resulting RRC report provides PJM operators with a picture of the reactive reserve capability of the capacitors, reactors, synchronous condensers, static var compensators, and units across the PJM RTO, as well as within the given TO footprint.
