What ratings methodologies are acceptable to PJM?
NERC Standard VAR-001-2 requires the Transmission Operator to provide the Generator Operator with a transmission voltage schedule and associated tolerance band (NERC standard Requirement 4). Is PJM going to provide the required voltage schedule and associated tolerance bands?
Will PJM coordinate the required voltage schedule and associated tolerance band with the respective Transmission Owners in order to capture voltage provisions included in the individual Plant Interconnection Agreements?
As a small generator operator, we take our direction for voltage and reactive control from the Transmission Owner. Does the current communication arrangement meet the needs of PJM for ensuring NERC reliability standard compliance? Or, should all operational communication (including reactive power control) be conveyed through PJM?
