Question:
As a transmission owner, must I submit a transmission outage ticket through eDART for trippings?
Answer:
Once a transmission path (BES and “Reliability and Markets” line, transformer, series device or PAR) has tripped, an outage ticket known as an EMS Trip Ticket is automatically generated by the eDART system. You are still required to provide full outage details; this can be done by creating a new ticket or updating the eDART system generated ticket using the EMS Trip Update form, accessible via the eDART Transmission Outage main menu.
