More Questions
Question:
Where should ratings be applied for each type of equipment?
Answer:
For all equipment that is internal to one transmission owner:
For lines, series services and phase shifters: the ratings are applied to END A.
For transformers: The ratings are applied to LOW side for the 2-winding transformers, and HIGH side of the primary winding for 3-winding transformers.
For flow breakers: The ratings are applied to the MVA element.
For tie lines: The ratings are applied to both END A and END B of the line. Each end owner of the company should submit ratings for their respective end of the line as modeled in the PJM network model.
