Every piece of equipment that was newly added to the PJM network model has ratings of 0 MVA across the board.

When entering a new ticket manually, by default, TERM sets short-term emergency ratings to be equal to long-term emergency ratings. If needed, the user can manually enter values for the short-term emergency ratings that are different than long-term emergency ratings.

The following rules apply to all the TERM tickets:

• For each temperature set, the following rule applies: normal ≤ long-term emergency ≤ short-term emergency ≤ load dump.
• All manually entered load dump ratings must be at least three percent higher than their corresponding short term emergency ratings.
• Night ratings are generally greater than day ratings, although there is no rule to this effect.
• The ratings at a given temperature set are generally expected to be greater than or equal to the ratings at the temperature set above it.
