Would downsizing my project reduce the network upgrade costs?

PJM cannot advise the developers on how to downsize their projects to reduce or eliminate cost allocation to network impacts. In general, the developer can use the indexes in the PJM report to see how the projects are stacked and what contributions each project has. If you’re considering a reduction, please review our material modification rules in Section 36.2A of the Tariff to determine how much you are allowed to reduce by during each phase.
